The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving and leading sales growth to promote and sell complex warehouse automation systems to potential customers, including identifying needs, presenting solutions, managing the sales cycle, and achieving sales targets within the requirements of Element Logic UK. Actively working and identifying potential clients together with the Business Development Manager within the warehouse and logistics market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Understanding customer needs and designing customized and standardized warehouse automation solutions, including conveyor systems, robotic picking, and automated packaging systems, as well as software systems in line with the suite of options provided by Element Logic.
* Developing and maintaining a robust and accurate sales pipeline through the professional use of the Element Logic CRM and Sales Board Process.
* Preparing detailed proposals and pricing structures for complex and standard warehouse automation solutions, considering customer requirements and profitability of Element Logic.
* Delivering compelling presentations to prospective customers showcasing the value proposition of warehouse automation within the Element Logic ways of working whilst addressing potential concerns both in terms of complexity of change and within the commercial context required.
* Working closely with all internal stakeholders to provide a “Customer Obsession” approach with seamless interaction from inception through to execution and thus customer success.
Competence Areas:
* Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification, combined with a strategic and entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting.
* Proven track record of success in selling complex warehouse automation solutions.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong data analysis skills, with a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting sales requirements.
* Ideally at least five years of professional experience in B2B direct sales in the field of intralogistics, logistics automation, conveyor technology, AGV/AMR, or capital goods requiring explanation in mechanical engineering.
Preferred locations: Nottingham, or any other location in the UK.
