We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team at the renowned Haymarket Hotel.
As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our food and beverage outlets. Working closely with senior management and a dedicated team, you will uphold the highest standards of customer service, consistently exceeding the expectations of our guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of all Food & Beverage departments, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
2. Conduct daily briefings to communicate specials and important updates to the team.
3. Regularly check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
4. Prepare detailed handover reports for the senior management team to ensure continuity and transparency.
5. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
6. Implement and supervise food safety and health and safety protocols, providing necessary training.
7. Utilise social media to promote food and beverage sales and monitor sales performance, focusing on upselling techniques.
8. Create and monitor departmental objectives, benchmarking monthly achievements.
9. Manage cashing up procedures and handle complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
What you Need:
1. Previous experience as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
2. A meticulous eye for detail, driven by a commitment to exceptional standards.
3. Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a proven ability to nurture, develop, and inspire a team.
4. Experience in training and developing staff, ensuring they reach their full potential.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Impeccable personal presentation and professionalism.
7. A resilient and driven approach, dedicated to getting things right the first time.
8. Familiarity with Micros systems is desirable.
