Design Engineer - Medical Simulation Products | Bristol | Up to £40k

My client, a global leader in medical simulation technology, is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their innovative product development team in Bristol. With a £30M turnover and ambitious growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical training devices.

Location: Bristol City Centre (BS2), near Temple Meads Pattern: Office-based with 1 day WFH per week

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop new medical simulation products from prototype to production
* Create and manage CAD files and documentation using Solidworks
* Produce high-quality working prototypes and manage their testing
* Work collaboratively with project leads and engineering teams
* Create detailed product specifications and assembly instructions
* Liaise with external suppliers and in-house tooling teams
* Contribute to product evaluation and modification processes
* Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new product development

Requirements:

1. Minimum 4 years' product development experience
2. Strong Solidworks CAD proficiency
3. Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or Design Engineering
4. Proven track record in solving complex design challenges
5. Creative approach to problem-solving
