We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join us at our unique Head Office in Renfrew, which includes our state-of-the-art gym with weekly circuit training, a personal trainer and yoga classes as well as the Beeks Bar or weekly masseuse to help you unwind!
About the Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for full life cycle project deliveries aligning project demand with resource availability, identifying critical path activities, and optimising project timelines. They will also play a key role in ensuring requirements are fully captured plus resource constraints and risks are effectively managed, providing transparency in project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Ability to convert Project Requirements into End-to-End Project Plans to fully execute project deliveries.
* Align project demand vs. resource availability using industry-standard project management tools.
* Lead and schedule Project Customer facing global meetings to report on project progress and deliveries, ensuring alignment with global time differences.
* Identify critical path activities and dependencies to optimise project timelines.
* Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring proper alignment with project needs including forecasting through the project lifecycle.
* Produce resource planning schedules to highlight constraints and utilisation.
* Generate Project risk documentation aligned to the Project Financial Budget, Delivery of HW Delays, Change of Scope, Technical Risks, Resource skill gaps, Identify bottlenecks, and resource overutilisation.
* Communicate resource risks and potential project impact to the Head of Project Management ahead of issues being experienced.
* Improve project planning and milestone tracking to meet deadlines effectively.
* Monitor Project scope and monetary management to prevent profit dilution and maintain budget alignment.
* Support Proximity Cloud contract performance reviews, assessing resource utilisation against commitments.
* Produce Lessons Learned documentation to drive Continuous Improvement and drive Innovation.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in project deliveries end to end, project planning, resource scheduling in a PMO environment and validation of requirements gathering.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, risk management, and resource planning tools.
* Proven ability to manage resources effectively, ensuring demand vs. capacity alignment.
* Project Financial Management aligned to Project Budget control.
* Experience in end-to-end Project delivery within IT infrastructure.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2).
* Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate risks.
* Strong communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder management.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in Infrastructure project deliveries aligned to low-latency financial technology or cloud services.
* PMP, PRINCE2 Certification.
