Busy 91 Bedroom City Center hotel requires a duty manager to join our team.
Key responsibilities of the Duty Manager:
1. Ensuring you are prepared for every shift with faultless hotel knowledge
2. Show passion for your guests’ experience by attending daily briefings to learn about special occasions, requirements and VIP guests
3. Ensuring all guests receive prompt service and guidance relating to their stay
4. Be confident in handling guest requirements, special requests and complaints
5. Be flexible in covering all departments and offer support regarding the team to ensure they are equipped for service
6. Take ownership in the smooth running of all departments during your shift
Preferred skills of Duty Manager:
1. Experience in a hotel or other service industry in a supervisory capacity
2. A good knowledge of food service
3. Articulate and communicative
4. Numerate
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. Organised and systematic
7. Concerned with quality of product and service
8. Computer literate
9. Proven leadership ability
The work pattern will be 5 days out of 7 with a variety of shifts, including weekends and regular overnight stays in the hotel.
