Insurance Administrator – Permanent - based in Northampton
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a competent individual to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be required to assist with processing the contractors request for insurance. Those contractors submit their requests online and come through as CSV files which will be checked/verified and transferred to their account spreadsheet. The insurance rates will be calculated and the contractor charged for those rates. Once payment has been received, then it will be your role to issue the insurance. We will expect all requests for insurance to be processed in a professional and timely manner.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Processing CSV files and Excel Spreadsheet (daily).
2. Member relations – ensuring you communicate clearly and efficiently to members.
3. Ensuring all information is present and correct in preparation for the issuance of insurance.
4. Applying the correct insurance rates for each product/service covered by insurers.
5. Supporting colleagues in other areas from time to time.
6. Staying up to date with all accounts.
Person Specification:
1. Demonstrate a good telephone manner.
2. Demonstrate a great understanding of writing and sending emails.
3. Strong competent understanding of EXCEL.
4. Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
Experience:
1. Microsoft Excel experience.
2. Demonstrate a great understanding of writing and sending emails.
3. Advantageous, experience in previous insurance environment.
Hours of Work:
1. 9am - 5pm (Monday - Friday).
