Solutions Director
Leicester (Hybrid working)
Bellrock Group has an opportunity for a Solutions Director to join on a permanent basis. You will carry out the execution of the new business strategy to drive commercial growth of the Facilities Management business through building strategic relationships with target clients. You will be tasked to develop high quality, commercially viable FM solutions that are successful in winning new business and which harness the breadth of Bellrock Group capabilities to create competitive advantage. The role will be a combination of proactive sales methodologies, such as relationship building and prospecting, as well as reactive opportunity management through the completion of tenders and portal opportunities and helping to shape Bellrock capabilities and Value Propositions for our customers.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage strategic relationships with target clients identified in new business strategy and client relationship model.
2. Provide expertise in support of FM solution design and tender/bid response supporting the creation of market leading responses.
3. Design and develop technology-led, positively differentiated client value propositions and solutions.
4. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, capturing all activity and progress in the Hubspot CRM system to enable transparent analysis of business development performance and prioritisation of time and resources.
5. Lead client sales meetings using knowledge and expertise to effectively demonstrate capability and potential of Bellrock products/services.
6. Lead negotiations and manage the deal-making process for bids, strategic partnerships, and other new business opportunities.
7. Achieve high win rates across new business opportunities.
8. Lead renewal activity for selected strategic accounts and share best practice with other teams working on their own renewals.
9. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
10. Create tailored value propositions for customers/clients based upon their needs and requirements.
11. Track and manage tenders through defined ITT timescales, responding to client information requests and coordinating contribution from internal stakeholders accordingly, leveraging group capability to maximise win rates.
12. Work closely with the marketing and communications team to produce frequent and insightful FM thought leadership market messages that result in increased awareness of Bellrock products/services and brand awareness.
13. Undertake extensive networking and communication through multiple in-person and online channels, fora, and events.
14. Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support the sales process from initial contact, solution design, bid development, and through to mobilisation.
15. Maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of the FM market and Bellrock competitors, ensuring solution design is aligned with new technology and service delivery trends.
16. Be an expert in Bellrock products and services and become self-sufficient in presenting and designing FM solutions to meet client requirements.
17. Represent the company at FM industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote Bellrock’s brand and establish strategic partnerships with external partners.
18. Build relationships with and engage the Operations team to assist in creating winning solutions, deals, and customer proposals.
19. Lead strategic renewal activity for selected clients, ensuring that work to renew contracts is commenced early and achieves excellent retention rates of 90% plus.
Essential experience:
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
2. Capable of building trust and leading consultative solution design and selling.
3. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a keen eye for identifying market trends and turning these into opportunities for Bellrock growth.
4. Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills, with a demonstrable ability to structure and close complex business agreements.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
6. Proficiency in using CRM tools (Hubspot preferred), sales analytics software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
8. Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and other business development activities.
9. Strong knowledge of IFM will be a distinct advantage.
