The Head of Learning Support, in addition to some teaching, is responsible for strategic development, teaching, learning and assessment, management, communication and the efficient deployment of resources and staff in their area of responsibility.

Godstowe is a thriving, busy School enjoying a famous reputation in its field and now entering its 125th anniversary year. Approximately a third of our pupils are boarders. The School prepares children for entry, mostly at 13+ but some at 11+, into the leading independent senior schools. The School prides itself in academic excellence, whilst being non-selective at entry.
The Learning Support Department covers the whole School from Pre-Prep to Year 8 and this role will focus on older age groups. There is close liaison with all teaching departments including EAL, and the School also employs an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant.
