Main duties of the job
As part of a wider team, you will work closely with mental health workers, partners, and other agencies. You will have an interest in working within the employment support sector and knowledge of employment rights and job retention would be an advantage. You will demonstrate an ability to prioritise a caseload and have an understanding of the principles of the Equalities Act and how it relates to Employment Rights. Full on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.

You will need a minimum 'A' Level Standard (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), have awareness of and/or experience of working with people who have experienced mental health issues. We are looking for excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate a proactive and highly motivated attitude. This post will operate throughout Southend, and use of own transport is essential. Appropriate mileage expenses will be provided.
