The Partnerships & Change (P&C) directorate leads the organisation’s strategic relationships with our clients, onboarding and offboarding, the development of future services, as well as providing enterprise architecture and business analysis capability.

We are looking for a Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Lead to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in our lean transformation journey.
The VSM Lead will be responsible for facilitating VSM initiatives across the organisation. This role will work closely with various directorates and teams to identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes and drive value creation.
You will have a strong background in lean methodologies, excellent facilitation skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing VSM in complex environments.
To do this role well you will need:
1. Experience in lean manufacturing, process improvement or experience in a similar role.
2. Proven experience leading and facilitating Value Stream Mapping initiatives.
3. Strong knowledge of lean principles and methodologies.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
5. Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse teams.
6. Experience in coaching and training teams on lean and agile practices.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
10. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build strong relationships.
11. Expertise in analysing processes, identifying waste, and developing solutions.
12. Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Working pattern
We work a mixture of full and part time hours across a 37hr week with varying working patterns
