We are recruiting for the leading provider of out of school hours childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about children’s play and activity, and someone who can inspire the generation of children!
As a Play Worker you don't necessarily need any specific experience, but you will ideally have:
1. A Passion for Working with Children: we're looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests.
2. Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: you will be assisting with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
3. Responsibility and Reliability: the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your responsibility and all team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed, and the children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff.
4. Communication and Engagement: all Play Workers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children, and schools on a daily basis. You will be a representative of the organisation's brand so it's key to always be a pleasure to be around!

2. Be Passionate: Love What You Do
3. Be Courageous: Show You Are Resilient
