The Health Foundation is an independent charitable organisation working to build a healthier UK. We’re looking for a Senior Editorial and Planning Manager to join our team. This is a new role that will play a critical part in developing and driving forward delivery of our publishing and editorial output. The postholder will work closely with colleagues at all levels to ensure all our publications and editorial output are produced at the highest standard, and in a way that effectively engages our audiences. Some of the responsibilities include: leading and developing the editorial team, setting its direction, and working with them to build and develop a vision for first class publications and editorial content at the Foundation. overall responsibility for managing our schedule of editorial output, co-ordinating publication of all our content to agreed quality standards and deadlines. co-leading the development and implementation of the Foundation’s content strategy. providing expert advice to authors at all levels of the organisation – including our most senior stakeholders championing the importance of high editorial standards, including a consistent application of our house style and tone of voice drawing on audience insight, data, and knowledge of best practice to develop editorial content products that help drive impact for the organisation. supporting the development of a corporate package of training for our authors.
