You will be a well-qualified and inspiring teacher with outstanding subject knowledge and a successful track record of teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level. The ability to teach an additional subject (such as History, Geography or PSHE) is strongly desired. You should have experience of using a range of teaching and learning strategies, including the use of the Microsoft Office suite, and be able to offer enthusiasm for your subject and excellent pupil results at all levels.
You will join 2 full time, experienced and dynamic subject specialists, who have an excellent track record of supporting pupils to achieve outstanding outcomes. Religious Studies is taught in class groups across Key Stage 3 and is a popular option at GCSE and A-level. Last summer, the Religious Studies GCSE cohort –on average -performed more than 1 grade higher than their baseline scores. We follow the AQA specification for Religious Studies at GCSE and OCR at A level.
