Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager

Location: Redditch (Travel Required)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Commission/Bonus
Role Summary
The Commercial Sales Manager will drive business development across the ecommerce and fulfilment sector by using proven sales strategies, tools, and relationship-building techniques. This individual will be responsible for generating profitable business opportunities, delivering high-quality solutions to customers, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process before transitioning clients to account management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive business growth by promoting ecommerce, fulfilment, and express delivery solutions.
2. Generate and nurture a pipeline of leads, converting them into long-term customers.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and supplier relationships.
4. Understand the customer’s business and uncover opportunities for tailored service offerings.
5. Present, negotiate, and close high-quality deals with prospective clients.
6. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery.
7. Identify and act on cross-functional sales opportunities.
8. Support marketing campaigns with aligned sales efforts.
9. Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
10. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs.
Preferred Skills & Experience
11. Proven track record in B2B/B2C ecommerce and fulfilment sales.
12. Minimum 5 years’ experience within ecommerce, fulfilment, or express delivery sectors.
13. Demonstrated success in generating new business and increasing market share.
14. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the ecommerce landscape.
15. Experience working in fast-paced, growth-focused environments.
