Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Receptionist to join our welcoming and friendly team at Omnia Medical Practice. We are a forward thinking and friendly practice based in the East of Birmingham. We are looking to employ another Receptionist to join our friendly, approachable and committed team who enjoy the work they do. If you are customer focused, with an eye for detail and willing to go that extra mile for our patients you are the ideal candidate. Previous GP experience is desirable and having worked in a public facing roll will be a benefit. Typical full time shift patterns are 8-4, 10:30-6:30 & 11-7, part time shift patterns to be discussed. Main duties of the job The primary responsibility is to provide a high quality clerical and administrative service to our patients. You will be responsible for all front of house services and patient signposting. The ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness, common sense, and to work under pressure whilst remaining calm is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team. A flexible and co-operative approach is also essential. The role comprises all aspects of reception and administration duties within a GP Practice including but not limited to: Dealing with patient queries by telephone, online platform and in person. Assisting all members of the Practice team. Adhering to health and safety, confidentiality, policies and procedures plus mandatory training All reasonable tasks as required by Management and Doctors.
