About the Role
In this role, you will spend 60 of your time working hands:on with vehicles and 40 administering warranty claims. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, complex diagnostics (including EV:related work), and conduct Manufacturer:Based Services to the highest standards. This role requires a collaborative team player who can also work independently to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
* Conduct complex diagnostics, including EV:related work.
* Carry out Manufacturer:Based Services with high:quality workmanship.
* Process and administer warranty claims accurately.
* Maintain records for audits and warranty claims reconciliation.
* Schedule warranty work efficiently within the workshop.
* Support colleagues with diagnostics and repair methods.
* Collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining high productivity.
The Ideal Technician
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, detail:oriented, and eager to grow. To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to read and analyse complex data.
* Knowledge of multi:brand cars and vans.
* Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
* EV diagnostic and repair authorisation is desirable.
* A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
