Join us a Production Duty Manager, based in Ferrybridge, Knottingley ( Continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off) The Production Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing or production facility during a designated shift. They ensure that production targets, quality standards, safety regulations, and operational goals are met efficiently in line with local KPI and business objectives. What youll do: Attend Production Duty Manager meetings to review team progress and discuss key issues of concern and key business activity Ensure all new procedures are understood and implemented and are up to date in our databases systems Manage employee relations and be pro-active with the management of people related issues managing them fairly and consistently Liaising with Engineering and Quality departments Involvement in manufacturing performance meetings Fully manage, co-ordinate, improve and optimise maintenance/change over activities To ensure all operational resources are utilised in an efficient and effective manner, helping control the site costs Ensure that Health and Safety is a core value in everything that is done to ensure that the importance of working safely is realised within the team and best practice is followed Organise your people resources on a day-to-day basis to optimise the delivery of the production schedule to fully meet the demands of the internal customer and the schedule What youll bring: You will have proven experience within a leadership position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
