We are currently working with a forward-thinking and dynamic Ofsted rated Outstanding secondary school in Northamptonshire that is seeking an experienced Religious Studies teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting in January 2025.
The Role:
As a Religious Studies teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, inspiring a deep understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophical ideas. You will be joining a supportive humanities department committed to fostering an inclusive and inquisitive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
* Subject Knowledge: A strong understanding of Religious Studies and the ability to teach the subject to GCSE level.
* Experience: Previous experience teaching Religious Studies in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
* Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for your subject and a commitment to nurturing a love of learning in your students.
* Team Player: An ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.
