We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team at Davies Veterinary Specialists. This role will give you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills with line managing a team of 4 associates. As Facilities Manager, you are responsible for the provision of strategic and operational leadership for facilities and project management, with a clear directive to supporting health and safety and sustainability within the practice. You will oversee and own all aspects of routine planned maintenance and reactive repairs using both internal & external resources, manage cleaning services, after-hours service calls, minor projects, and all in service of our 24-hour veterinary hospital. Your goal is to keep our veterinary practice in peak operating condition and ensure that the building and facilities meets the needs of our employees and the practice to enable services to be delivered efficiently and effectively to clients. The role will ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly but will also plan and lead on facilities projects. This is a full-time, permanent position with out of hours on call responsibilities. For that reason, understanding and experience in sustainable facilities management is desirable.
