We are looking for someone who has experience working with children and has a passion for PE/Sports who can be responsible for the delivery of programmes for schools in areas of Physical Education, Physical Activity, Sport and outdoor activities. The successful candidate will work well as part of a team, be supportive, nurturing and understanding and will be able to demonstrate significant practical experience of delivering to pupils, within a Health and Wellbeing/ Education context. Our ideal candidate will have sound understanding of the Physical Education and national and local developments. It is essential that you have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification. A QTS degree and/or NGB qualification in multiple PE, Sport is desirable. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential. You must be an excellent communicator both verbally and written, strategic and creative thinking, energetic and enthusiastic to work with young people, demonstrate sound judgement and decision making and have an understanding of current education issues and practice. You will maintain a professional attitude and appearance, be flexible and able to adapt. Knowledge of current national agenda around PE, Health and Wellbeing is desirable. Experience of delivering programmes of professional learning in schools, local authorities or further/higher education is desirable. Experience of working with vulnerable groups of young people and engaging them in activity, experience of working and engaging with parents and staff, and knowledge of health and safety guidelines and risk assessing is desirable.
