* Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring all payments are made on time.
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions and update the purchase ledger.
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries or issues.
* Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
* Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
