Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities Assisting students with their learning, providing one-to-one support when necessary Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment Supervising students during class and break times Assisting with administrative tasks related to education Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Education: Minimum of GCSE level education in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working in an educational setting as a Teaching Assistant Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processes Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well within a team Organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Higher-level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Classroom-based role with some outdoor supervision duties Potential for temporary contract extension or permanent position based on performance All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
