Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Critical Setting
Location: Data Centre, Farnborough
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a Data Centre in Farnborough. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of our critical infrastructure.

- Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment in a critical setting.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on ventilation systems, generators, and other electrical equipment.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance.
- Identifying and rectifying electrical faults and issues in a timely manner.
- Assisting with power supply management and ensuring backup systems are operational.
- Collaborating with the wider facilities team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Adhering to strict safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a critical setting, preferably in a data centre or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Familiarity with ventilation systems, generators, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
Shift Pattern:
The successful candidate will be on a continental shift pattern, working the following schedule:
- Four days on, four days off
- Four nights on, four days off
- Three days on, three nights on
- Six days off
Salary:
The salary for this role is in the range of £49000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
