We're incredibly passionate about what we do at The Owl Centre and we are looking for clinicians who share our passion and patient-first approach If you are an experienced, passionate, motivated and autonomous clinician, with experience completing ADHD assessments in adults, children and young people, we'd love to hear from you Key Information Location : Remote (UK) ⌚ Hours of Work : Full time hours, on a permanent basis. ️ Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: £45,000 per year (with achievable opportunities for development and salary increases) You will need A clinical qualification in medicine, speech and language therapy, mental health nursing, social work, clinical psychology or educational psychology. An appropriate statutory body registration (HCPC, NMC, GMC) Relevant experience in ADHD assessment and diagnosis. Knowledge and experience of providing psycho-social or psycho-educational support and/or intervention. Strong knowledge of legislation, acts and development relevant to the field of ADHD service provisions. The ability to work autonomously and manage your own caseload. Strong IT skills and ability to use software such as Microsoft Word and Teams. Outstanding communication skills - you will be speaking to adults, children and young people as well as other professionals in the field. Role Responsibilities: Conducting and completing ADHD assessments and supporting people with ADHD. Advising and supporting colleagues, ensuring the high-quality delivery of our ADHD assessment pathways, leading to positive outcomes for our clients. Confidence in differential diagnosis and/or comorbid conditions to make accurate, robust and appropriate diagnoses. Uphold professional responsibility for your diagnostic decision-making within competence, with supervision from Clinical Leads. Maintaining accurate and timely client records and writing professional reports within expected timescales. Recommending any further assessments or interventions which are appropriate for the client within their reports. Collaborating with the senior leadership team to develop and innovate the ADHD service. Contributing to the development of other clinicians by providing consultations and training.
