Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for Oil & Gas Sector in Dyce, UK
Our client is a leading company operating in the oil and gas sector seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to join their team at their location in Dyce, United Kingdom. This permanent position offers competitive compensation of £60000 per annum + package.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher qualification(s) related to Mechanical Engineering.
2. Previous experience working within the Oil & Gas industry.
Skills Required for Mechanical Design Engineer Role in Dyce
Mechanical Design
The successful candidate should have expertise designing mechanical systems such as pressure vessels and hydraulic components used specifically within the oil and gas sector.
MathCAD
Applicants must be proficient with Mathcad software which will aid them when performing engineering calculations on various projects.
3D CAD Software
Candidates are required to possess excellent proficiency using 3D computer aided-design (CAD) software packages that can help improve product designs while reducing costs without compromising quality standards.
PDM
Experience working with Product Data Management Systems would be beneficial since it helps optimize project management workflows by simplifying document control procedures throughout every stage from inception through completion.
Project Implementation
A good understanding of Project implementation methodologies specific to this field is necessary; familiarity with P&ID drawings also preferred.
