In this role you will design safety and control systems using AutoCAD, including hardware and software engineering, PLC programming (Allen Bradley Rockwell), and developing SCADA systems and HMIs. You'll review project requirements, create functional specifications, and optimize designs through testing and simulations. Responsibilities include system validation, internal testing, and on-site commissioning of new systems in the UK and abroad, with regular collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
The Role
1. Design and program PLC systems with Allen Bradley/Rockwell software.
2. Test, validate, and commission automation systems for rail and other sectors.
3. Develop system designs, SCADA, and HMI.
4. Travel UK-wide and internationally for commissioning.
The Person
1. Control Systems Engineer with Allen Bradley PLC expertise.
2. Skilled in AutoCAD for electrical/mechanical design.
3. Degree in Control, Automation, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
4. Knowledge of industrial communications and safety systems (SIL).
