Based at our newly expanded Fried Manufacturing site in Milton Keynes, which has gone through significant investment over the last 6 months, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as Stock Control (Reconciliation) Operative's. Job Purpose: The role of the Stock Control / Recon Operative is to manage and be accountable for the movement of stock and inventory control, rectifying miscalculations, report findings and highlight issues or products at risk to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Stock Control (Reconciliation) Operative k ey Duties: Maintain and update inventory records Reconciliation of inventory discrepancies Utilising in-house computer systems for all aspects of inventory control – M3 Lawson / Excel. Investigate and report stock variance to management Communicate corrective actions to relevant departments Update At Risk action plans on production handovers Count designated areas to ensure correct stock control Conduct quality inspections and address issues Co-ordinate with operations, planning and procurement teams and attend meetings Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) Daily shift handovers Experience Stock control/inventory management experience Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment (desirable) Experience of FMCG/short shelf-life products (desirable) Key Skills and Knowledge: Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Good English and Maths ability Proven ability to work to tight deadlines Excellent communication at all levels Team player but can also work individually Flexible approach with problem-solving capability Self-motivated Benefits to Include: Free Parking Sink your teeth into discounts with our online and high-street retailer discount scheme and benefits portal.
