Job Purpose
We at Cadent are looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to promote optimum efficiency and compliance within our projects. Support the IT team in delivering work efficiently and with expertise and precision within agreed processes, procedures, and timescales.
Someone who can proactively deliver brilliant quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. This person will be trusted to deliver a quality and specialist experience, always acting responsibly and communicating clearly.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing IS external and internal audit activities for the [PLAN & DATA / BUILD & RUN] teams and supporting DR&S where required.
* Profiling of IS risks, controls, and associated issues and action cycles within the [PLAN & DATA / BUILD & RUN] teams and assurance against IS compliance policies.
* Support with implementing the IS department's competency framework as set out and agreed with all functional team leaders and as directed by the Head of Governance.
* Monitor adherence to regulatory, compliance and internal risk & governance policies, standards, and rules. Conduct risk assessments, process maturity reviews and control testing, monitor and report on IS risks and controls whilst maintaining awareness of emerging risk, agree mitigation actions.
* Support with the development and implementation of an efficient risk and compliance framework on behalf of IS, ensuring that the IS Governance team and IS Senior Managers are kept up to date with operational risks in their area.
Skills and Experience
* Understanding and some experience of IS governance control frameworks such as CObIT.
* Solid awareness of IT risk methodologies and risk frameworks.
* Experience in technology used for risk identification and management.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills for all levels and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and provide clear and appropriate direction.
