Role Overview
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assisting in receiving and checking in all deliveries to the warehouse, including checking off and recording incoming stock and informing the buying team of any irregularities.
2. Transferring stock to the correct warehouse, taking care not to damage products or packaging.
3. Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders with care and within time targets, ensuring accurate paperwork is dispatched, waste is disposed of correctly, and the computer system is updated.
4. Maintain stock rotation and take part in stock checks with the wider team.
5. Complete and adhere to all health and safety training to adhere to GDPR guidelines when disposing of paperwork.
6. Maintain good working relationships with staff, projecting a professional image at all times.
About the Role

Essential Skills
1. Recent experience in a warehouse or similar environment, such as a supermarket or a large retail store e-commerce distribution centre.
2. A team player who is happy to receive tasks and lend a hand and can keep up with deliveries with the confidence to question any discrepancies.
3. A good communicator with excellent standards of customer service.
4. Comfortable using computers at a basic level, such as inputting information, sending emails, etc.
5. Takes pride in work and has a keen eye for detail; this department is helpful and hardworking and completes tidy work that they are proud to distribute.
