We are working with a leading regional, Lexcel accredited law firm who are seeking an experienced legal secretary to support their busy Private Client team in Leamington Spa.
This is a varied and busy role which would involve:
1. Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client Department, supporting a number of Private Client fee earners
2. Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
3. Handling of and dealing with client calls
4. Seeing clients in Reception
5. Making appointments for clients
6. Conducting conflict checks on new clients
7. Locating files ahead of appointments
8. Maintaining filing systems
9. Providing occasional reception cover
10. Preparing accurate invoices and cost scheduling for clients on a monthly basis
Suitable candidates will have:
1. Excellent keyboard skills
2. Experience of using a legal case management system
3. A minimum of 12 months' legal secretarial experience, supporting a Private Client Department, dealing with wills, powers of attorney and estate administration
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week). Applications will, however, also be considered from candidates seeking part-time hours, provided they are able to work full days from Monday to Wednesday.
