Job Title: Robotic Welder Operator Location: West Bromwich Hours: 39 hours per week, 2-week rotating shift pattern: Shift 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm Shift 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm Pay Rate: £11.75 - £12.00 per hour (depending on experience) Additional 22% shift allowance Key Responsibilities: Operate and oversee robotic spot welding equipment to manufacture high-quality metal components. Load and unload parts into robotic welding fixtures accurately and efficiently. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards. Monitor robot performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues. Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including cleaning and resetting equipment as needed. Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and maintain workflow efficiency. Requirements: Previous experience in robotic welding or spot welding is highly desirable. Understanding of welding techniques and materials, particularly in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
