This is an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to take on the role of Technical Support Assistant within the City Alarm andamp; Emergency Centre.

The post plays a key role with the co-ordination of CCTv within the Council and the services we support, including providing advice and guidance to 3rd parties.andnbsp; The post holder will ensure the provision and deployment of CCTv cameras, and compliance with and exceeding all legislative and procedural requirements.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication, organisational and administration skills combined with the ability to respond accurately to requests. You must have the ability to work as an effective team member.

Training will be provided in all aspects of the role both internally and externally, including working towards Security Industry Authority Licence.
You must hold or be working towards obtaining a full valid UK driving licence, and access to own vehicle, for which mileage will be paid, and there will be a requirement to work flexibly around the standard thirty-seven hour week.
Experience of Windows based applications is essential along with a flexible approach. Applicants must have or be capable of working towards the Security Industry Authority Licence for Public Open Space CCTv Monitoring.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. A pre -employment BS7858 Security Check will also be required.
