Salary: £27,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Full Time: 37.5 hours ( Monday - Friday 09.00 -17.00)
Location: Dudley Office (no home working) Eboby House Castlegate Way, Complex, Dudley DY1 4TA
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact ? As an Employment Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will be helping participants unlock their potential and guiding them toward sustainable employment, from career coaching to personal development, addressing complex and varied challenges along the way.
What youll be doing:
Collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and identify the steps needed to secure meaningful employment.
Meeting and exceeding performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community
Understanding and signposting participants to internal and external services that address needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching
Ensuring that participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to help support with job searches
Preparing participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, and helping them build confidence in their abilities.
Maintaining accurate electronic participant records that reflect the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within the required timescales and to the required standards
You will Require:
Experience working in fast-paced environments
The ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to achieve their fullest potential
Strong experience in delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation driving positive change
Exceptional communication skills-inspire and influence participants while addressing their diverse needs with flexibility, robustness and creativity, as well as contacting employers and other external stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants
Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges
High-level digital literacy
Excellent organisational skills-able to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities
