Must have experience.
Must be flexible with working days. 4 x 10-hour days, but we are flexible if you need more or fewer hours.
Duties:
- Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications
- Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the butcher area
- Assist customers with selecting and purchasing meat products
- Provide recommendations on cooking methods and cuts of meat
- Receive and inspect meat deliveries for quality and freshness
- Operate and maintain butcher equipment and tools
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle sharp objects safely
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent customer service skills
