Do you have experience of managing anti-social behaviour and breaches of tenancy? Have you developed skills to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour, to resolve local housing related safety issues?
If so, you could be the next specialist here at Warwick District Council.
You’ll be out in the community managing a full range of casework, representing our Housing department when responding to serious breaches of tenancy conditions and reports of high-level anti-social behaviour.
The role will involve working closely with victims of anti-social behaviour to ensure the right support is in place whilst also working with perpetrators to make positive changes to help them sustain their tenancy.
You’ll need to engage with internal and external legal teams on complex cases, preparing documentation and where needed representing Warwick District Council at Court.
You’ll provide our Housing Officers with advice, support and all the necessary tools and tactics to remedy cases with a key focus on prevention, intervention, and swift enforcement when necessary and only as a last resort.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be flexible and able to commute around the district regularly, so you must have access to a car to enable you to visit victims and perpetrators in their homes where safe to do so.
We operate a hybrid working model, but you will be expected to attend the office regularly and work daily out in the community.
Please note the post is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
The intention is for the post holder to work predominantly from home; however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate.
