Educated to degree level or vocational equivalent with at least a Level 3 teaching qualification and subject specialism as required. Possess at least 3 years of experience within the Lifelong Learning Sector, with a preference for experience in online/distance learning. Able to work independently, delivering high-quality learning programmes aligned with Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework. Open to working part-time, as full-time hours cannot be guaranteed due to dependency on school engagements. What the Job Involves Delivering a balanced and flexible programme of accredited Family Learning provision across Lincolnshire. Planning, preparing, and delivering accredited courses using a variety of teaching methods including online delivery where appropriate. Mentoring other internal tutors and managing learners during courses. Developing innovative curriculum programmes that engage, motivate, and retain targeted learner groups. Regularly reviewing and assessing learner progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes. Coordinating with Project Officers and participating in marketing and promotional activities for courses. Organising learner support like childcare and transport, working with internal and external contacts for comprehensive service delivery. Responsible for completing administrative paperwork related to teaching, including registers, evaluations, and achievement data. Participation in mandatory staff training, tutor meetings, and maintaining CPD requirements. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity, and safeguarding policies. Working in various locations, covering specific areas including Horncastle/Louth, Skegness/Mablethorpe, Grantham, Stamford, and Holbeach. Operating in a flexible role, matching teaching assignments with local school needs, primarily during term times only. Compensated for teaching sessions at a rate of £21 per hour, with additional pay for preparation and planning. Conducting joint family learning sessions with schools, as well as adult-only sessions focusing on English and maths skills.
