Job summary We are on the look out for a Data Administrator to join our team at Pendle View Medical Centre. We are a General Practice providing an excellent level of care to patients living in Brierfield and surrounding areas. As a Data Administrator you must be familiar with all functions of the clinical IT systems and their applications, in addition to national and local quality standards for primary care and information governance. The candidate will be responsible for the generation and analysis of clinical and non-clinical information to ensure the practice meets the quality targets and clinical standards set by the practice and the wider NHS. The position involves working closely with the Management Team, GPs, Nurses and Administration staff across the practice in multi-disciplinary teams. Main duties of the job Main duties involve being aware of national, local and practice quality standards for chronic disease management. Ensuring that quality of care is maintained at a high standard using NICE guidance and the existing GP contract as a guide. You must have a clear understanding of the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF), Quality Improvement Scheme (QIS), and enhanced services. You will be required to work closely with the team and be able to ensure we are meeting the relevant targets and put provisions in place to be able to meet them.
