Global Bids Manager
Location: UK
What we’re looking for
We are looking for the individual who will lead the bid process for the Maritime, Offshore and Advisory business streams, preparing quality responses to client tender requests. Responsible for implementing the bid process and for creating and maintaining a bid library and standard proposal collateral.

The role
* Lead the bid-proposal preparation process to help ensure proposals reach the highest standards in support of the achievement of the Global Sales strategy.
* Provide support and guidance in writing and reviewing Tender bids and Proposals ensuring consistency across the business.
* Co-ordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders as necessary to identify, document and edit key business, financial and technical requirements.
* Create an accessible and valuable library of reusable materials, templates and elements of proposals to enhance and facilitate future bids. Manage and maintain the Global Bids and Proposals Teams Site.
* Work with other Bid Managers to implement a global bid process for bids and tenders.
* Author standard proposal sections, collaborating with Marketing Product Managers to optimize and update product-specific bid templates.
* Coordinate larger and complex proposal submissions ensuring the end-to-end bid process is managed.
* Manage proposal strategy, progress, and review meetings with key stakeholders.
* Provide guidance and support on the structure and composition of bids.
* Monitor bid success and implement review procedures for continuous improvement.
* Work to share best practices with countries, giving them the tools and knowledge to be autonomous in the less complex bids.
What you bring
* Proven experience in writing large bids and tenders.
* A high level of literacy, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Advanced IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* The ability to multitask, organize work effectively and meet deadlines.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and with a wide range of people.
* Proven capacity to work on own initiative and with minimal or no supervision.
* Experience of communicating and collaborating with stakeholders.
* Experience of analyzing and interpreting financial and technical information.
* The ability to assess and interpret data to gain insights about client requirements.
Preferred but not required:
* Spanish language skills.
* Knowledge of marine and/or oil & gas industry.
