The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary, with the potential for a long-term contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality DT lessons to students across a range of abilities, from Key Stage 3 up to GCSE. You will have a strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and be able to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate our students.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Experience teaching DT in a secondary school setting
3. Strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and assessment frameworks
4. Ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
6. A commitment to your own professional development and the improvement of teaching and learning in the DT department.
