Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher looking for a new challenge in Cardiff? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a well-established school on a long-term basis, starting after the Easter holidays. This role will be offered through supply with the possibility of extension, depending on the school's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for KS2 students.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and academic growth of all pupils.
3. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
5. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
6. Manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
1. Proven experience teaching in KS2 (Key Stage 2) with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
2. A passion for teaching and helping children succeed.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. EWC (Education Workforce Council) Registration and an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
