Class 1 Drivers - Chilled And Ambient
AM starts: from 08:00
Weekly pay: from £16.80 per hour
Weekday and Weekend work available
The role requires the delivery of chilled and ambient goods to RDC's and large wholesalers.
Backing onto bays - no handball.
Responsibilities
- Drive trucks to transport and deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck
Qualifications
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for the vehicle being driven
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or truck driver is advantageous
- Knowledge of flatbed trucks is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
