Our focus is on cultural, behavioural, management / leadership and skills-based topics, with a view to expanding our portfolio of solutions. Whilst the role is predominantly focused on designing and delivering learning to support our colleagues in the North East, we operate across a large geographical area, meaning there may be some travel (and potentially overnight stays) to cover our Yorkshire region as required. What you’ll be doing The successful candidate will: Deliver the full learning and development cycle, from needs analysis to evaluation, creating and delivering blended learning experiences that engage colleagues Own, promote and deliver the L&D course schedule to maximise awareness and attendance Build collaborative relationships across the business to understand development needs, offering solutions that increase knowledge, capability and skills Champion personal development beyond the training room, coaching colleagues to apply the learning, maximise their contribution and fulfil their potential Work with the L&D Administrator to ensure learning records are accurate and up to date What you’ll get in return Along with a competitive salary of up to £ 44,000 performance related bonus, we also offer great benefits such as; Enrolment into our pension scheme 25 days holiday About you Essential Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience Excellent communication and presentation skills Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills Good understanding of adult learning theories Creativity and an ability to create engaging, interactive learning Good technical skills, including the full Microsoft Office suite and other design tools e.g. Canva Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience Training/Learning/Educational qualification such as CIPD, TAP, PTTLLS or similar Coaching qualification Delivery of management and leadership development programmes Delivery of corporate culture programmes and behaviour training Use of psychometric tools, such as Clifton Strengths, Insights, MBTI, DISC or similar Experience of designing blended learning solutions in conjunction with online learning (such as LinkedIn Learning) would be desirable but not essential C lick here to apply today Visit n orthernpowergrid.com/careers to find out more about this and other opportunities.
