Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £140 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow the curriculum and lesson plans left by the classroom teacher Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Previous experience working as a Teacher or Supply Teacher Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK education system Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics Knowledge of different teaching strategies and techniques Good organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: Work in various school settings within the designated region Full-time hours with occasional requirement for additional work Potential for short notice assignments All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
