We’re recruiting for Aspen Wood, our latest new learning disability low secure facility. If you're a qualified band 5 nurse, your annual pay will be £32,407 to 38,581 (inclusive of £4,000 recruitment and retention premia) depending on experience, in addition you will receive a £1500 welcome bonus payment on completing three months at Aspen Wood, with two further payments of £1500 at 12 months and 24 months. inclusive of recruitment and retention premia and a welcome bonus.
We're looking for qualified learning disability and mental health nurses, and allied health professionals, to work in our state of the art specialist learning disability facility in Maghull Health Park, Merseyside.
You’ll be joining one of the most innovative and progressive NHS trusts in the country that offers specialist inpatient and community services to support physical and mental health, learning disability, addiction and brain injury.
Recruitment and retention premia of £4k per annum is paid to qualified nurses in 12 monthly instalments, in addition to £1500 on completing three months at Aspen Wood, with two further payments of £1500 at 12 months and 24 months. All the while you'll be given opportunities to develop your career.
Due to open in 2023, Aspen Wood is a state of the art, 40 bed hospital, providing specialist learning disability and mental health care & treatment.
The division is responsible for specialised secure mental health services, in low, medium and high secure settings for service users with a primary classification of mental illness, and personality disorders. Working across the division as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high standards of care and treatment to a complex group of service users. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a specialist forensic environment.
