An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Test and Calibration Engineer to join my clients pioneering company at the forefront of the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry. Renowned for their innovative solutions in conventional, phased array, and FMC-TFM ultrasonic technology, they cater to a diverse range of sectors including transportation, aerospace, power generation, and oil and gas. Their products are instrumental in maintaining the integrity of critical components and structures worldwide, used by leading companies such as Boeing, Airbus, and Shell.
Responsibilities:
* Perform testing and verification of devices, including PCBs, ensuring they meet function and quality standards before shipment or end of sale.
* Collaborate closely with the production team for verification processes.
* Diagnose faults to component level on complex electronic products, specifically analogue & signal amplification & digital signals.
* Undertake fault diagnosis, implement corrective actions, and conduct repairs as needed.
* Conduct tests to specification using appropriate test equipment and documentation.
* Ensure the availability and correct use of test equipment for production testing.
Requirements:
* HND in Electronic Engineering.
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex electronic products.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively across departments.
