Head of Estates and Facilities Band 7 This is a full time, permanent position for 37.5 hours per week. We are seeking a self-motivated leader to manage our busy Estates & Facilities team. This role forms part of the St Gemma’s Leadership team and you will have accountability for all aspects of the estate including maintenance, security, health and safety, fire safety, catering and housekeeping. You will also support the needs of all 26 retail shops across the Estate. You will support the Exec team in delivering the Hospice’s strategy and support plans, working with the senior leadership team on projects and key deliverables. The successful candidate will deliver effective solutions and mitigate risks while ensuring a high quality and proactive service is maintained across the Hospice. You will have: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in estates and facilities management Experience of leading and managing a diverse team Strong stakeholder management and experience of reporting to exec management. Proven experience in budget planning and management Working knowledge of rota systems and shift patterns Ability to create an inclusive environment ensuring all staff are treated fairly and consistently.
