Project Manager – Fit Out LT-QS-TC About the Opportunity: Our client is a Fit Out Contractor specialising in various internal construction packages such as Dry Lining, Carpentry, Flooring, Firestopping & Decoration primarily across the commercial sector. Based in Basildon with a satellite office in Canary Wharf, My Client has been trading for over 15 years and have gained an outstanding industry reputation within a niche market. This company undertakes projects ranging from FM Contracts, Sub-Contract packages and full fit out schemes operating as both a Main & Sub-Contractor. A financially stable business with a turnover circa £12m our client is expecting a huge growth year based on successful tendering and strong industry demand. About the Role Due to Natural growth our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work within their FM side of business, reporting to the Head of the division. You will be capable of working within fast and running multiple projects within an occupied office environment. The projects will be in and around the London area serving the commercial fit out market. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a rapidly growing contractor within their specialist sector. Your role will include but not be limited to: • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies • Performing risk and value management and cost control • Advising on procurement strategy • Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks • Preparing and analysing costings for tenders • Allocating work to subcontractors About the benefits / rewards: Our client support, develop and understand their employees. The guideline basic salary is £50,000 - £60,000 (Negotiable), however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer
