About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team here at JCB hospitality, visits centre, 39 hour contract, mainly based at the headquarters, but does include some off-site work at our events.
What does this role involve day to day?
1. Working mainly Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am – 4:30pm, with the occasional evening event and weekend shift.
2. Serving food and beverages to both our internal VIP and external VIP guests.
3. Working at our off-site venues to deliver food and beverages.
4. Assisting with keeping a clean dining room and area as required.
5. Assisting in the kitchen where needed with some basic preparation work.
6. Washing up, polishing crockery, and setting the dining room for service.
This will be suited to you if:
1. You have a can-do attitude, understanding and working to brand standards.
2. You value cleanliness and organisation on shift, understanding that preparation is key to a smooth shift.
3. You are flexible to the working needs of the business, including hours.
4. You embrace working as part of a team but have the ability to work alone if needed.
5. You have the desire to improve your skill set and learn new skills that will aid your role.
6. You are smartly dressed (uniform provided) and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
7. General food and hygiene knowledge would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
8. A driving license would be an advantage but not essential.
What happens next?
