We are seeking motivated design tutors with experience teaching in Higher Education that are able to contribute into the Graphic Design, UX and Design curricula, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Loughborough University are a top-10 ranked university in all major UK league tables. We are ranked 1 st for Fashion and Textiles and 2 nd for Graphic Design in the 2025 Guardian University League Table, 3 rd for Art & Design in the 2025 Complete University Guide and with the Times Good University Guide. The School of Design and Creative Arts received £3 million of investment this year, with new facilities opening in the Autumn. The Role Candidates should be experts in UX, service design or digital design practices that can draw on professional industry experience alongside critical and contextual knowledge. The ability to teach applied practice is essential and should include competencies in one or more of: UX/UI, service design, digital product design or digital design for graphic communication. Alongside digital competencies, confidence with physical making and analogue prototyping would be beneficial. These are fixed-term posts until 31 July 2025.
