Area Sales Manager – Exciting Growth Opportunity
They are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager with extensive experience in distribution sales and Manufacturing to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across the South West, with a focus on both growing existing business and identifying new sales opportunities. If you have a passion for technical sales, a strong strategic mindset, and a proven track record in territory management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales and profitability targets within the defined territory
Develop and manage customer relationships to foster business growth
Identify new sales opportunities, focusing on distribution channels and account acquisition
Work closely with internal teams to maximize business potential
Participate in sales meetings to present strategies and plans for territory development
Spend 90% of time in the field meeting with customers and developing new business opportunities
Collaborate with distributors and support their sales efforts
Provide regular reports and market feedback
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in territory sales management within technical sales
Proven experience in Manufacturing and distribution sales
Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage time effectively, plan journeys, and use CRM systems for efficient territory management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
Ability to travel and, when necessary, stay overnight within the sales territory
